Ecofix Position Couplers

Ecofix position coupler are used in situation where neither of the bars to be connected is free to rotate. The position couplers are designed to exceed the requirements of BS-8110 Parti-1989 &BS-5400Part4 -1990 and ACI-318.

A position coupler comprises of three components -'x1 main sleeve with internal taper threading on one end and internal parellel thread on second end, Y a socket with one end externally threaded with parellel threads and second end with internal taper threads, 'Z' -a locknut to ensure secured connection when desired adjustibility for joining bars is acheived.

For desired results all the components must be tightened sequentially with pipe wrench to ensure proper assembly and connection.
